Using FARDU

Terms of use

Updated 13 October 2026

FARDU is provided by Ahmad Ruzaini Abd Rahman, trading as Styrax Technologies. Contact admin@fardu.app for help.

Your prayer companion

FARDU helps you view prayer times, set reminders and record prayers. You control your records and settings. Check your location, calculation method and local prayer guidance. FARDU does not determine whether a prayer is accepted or provide a religious ruling.

Permissions and availability

Optional features depend on device permissions, operating-system limits and your settings. Notifications, widgets and blocking can be affected by battery restrictions, permission changes, time-zone changes or service interruptions. Do not rely on FARDU as an emergency service.

Free features and lifetime Pro

Core prayer times, reminders, logging and the Qada journal are free. Pro adds app blocking and detailed analytics through a one-time purchase. There is no recurring subscription. “Lifetime” means access to the purchased Pro feature set for the supported life of FARDU, not a guarantee that a service will operate forever.

Your store shows the final regional price and applicable taxes before payment. Purchases and refunds are governed by the applicable Apple or Google terms and your statutory rights. Restore purchases using the same store account. We do not promise transfer of a purchase between Apple and Google.

Using the app responsibly

Use FARDU on devices you are authorized to manage. Do not use it to interfere with another person’s access without permission, abuse the service or attempt unauthorized access to other users’ information.

Privacy and changes

The privacy policy describes how data is handled. We may update the app and these terms to reflect feature or service changes. Changes will be described on this page; the date above identifies the current terms.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights. For an App Store download, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies where applicable.
